Founded in 1999 by a collective of eight visionary wineries, Texas Hill Country Wineries has flourished into an esteemed association with a membership that has grown exponentially.Now surpassing 60 winery members, we continue to showcase the independent origins of our craft and champion our trailblazing members. Our mission is clear: to shine a spotlight on the remarkable Texas Hill Country AVA and the extraordinary wines it yields.

Texas Hill Country Wineries (THCW) is a non-profit trade association dedicated to promoting both our member wineries and the exceptional Texas Hill Country wine region. From Austin to Fredericksburg, Lampasas to New Braunfels, we bring together a thriving community of winemakers and wine enthusiasts.Through the creation of spectacular events and unforgettable experiences, our goal is to raise awareness, drive visitors to member wineries, provide industry education and support the next generation with scholarships.
